Frank Ussery is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Forward-Thinking Consultants LLC, a multi-state consulting firm specializing in healthcare safety, security, and emergency preparedness. He brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience advising organizations on enterprise risk reduction, operational resilience, and high-reliability safety cultures.
Mr. Ussery holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Management, and bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Human Resources. He maintains advanced certifications in safety and emergency preparedness and serves as an OSHA Outreach Instructor, providing guidance on regulatory compliance and workforce safety.
He has provided executive oversight of safety, security, and operational programs across more than 20 hospitals, including skilled nursing and behavioral health environments. His experience spans both clinical and non-clinical operations, with enterprise responsibility for security, telecommunications, and support services, ensuring continuity and risk-aware performance.
Mr. Ussery is recognized for expertise in enterprise risk assessments, physical threat analysis, and workplace violence prevention program design at the governance level. He supports organizations in aligning regulatory requirements with real-world risk and operational priorities.
His experience also includes mission-critical data center operations, corporate security programs, and public sector support, offering a cross-sector perspective on risk and resilience.
